My body is saying it needs more sleep

Oh wait.  Here's the button to blog.  My gosh.  Why is this confusing me so much?  I feel like I"m juggling between multiple sites for the same blog spot. I couldn't even find the button to do a simple blog.  I kept pushing the one that says create new blog, which would mean setting up yet another blog site. No THANK YOU.  I can't even figure this one out yet!   LOL
I've got the major drags going on.  I really think I have not adapted to the school schedule this year which requires that I get up an hour earlier than I have been for many years.. but my bedtime remains roughly the same.  When does the time change drop me back an hour?  I need it.
I don't mind helping my friend by giving her rides to church but it means  we all have to get up earlier in order to accommodate the extended ride time to get to her home and then the extended route to get to church.  I'm just losing sleep all over the place.
My daughter is on the swim team this year!!!  Which can mean late nights on swim meet nights.   Very exciting since I was involved in all the school sports many moons ago (and no I am not athletic!)   LOL  I had hoped one of my four kids would at least be active such as I was and they are... just not necessarily in sports or even band / choir, much to my chagrin.  I love my kids.    Some like music.  Some don't.  Some like to work out... but in spurts.  I'm so busy I think sometimes maybe I''m not a good example.  I simply can not fit into my schedule more practice time on my music - be it flute, piano, guitar, baby psaltery ( plus the cat swats at me if I practice my baby psaltery!) what ever.  And although I have the equipment to run on a treadmill (who doesn't) it doesn't get the use I had envisioned when I received it.  I have hopes...   My kids will eventually have lives outside of home here and then I will have tons of time to do the things I'd love to do right?  he he he he he
Life in the fast lane.   Is there something to be said for just being a home body?  Or is it better to be active active active.  I think there has to be a balance.  Does one ever really find balance?

I had something I wanted to blog about... and it went right out of my head.  Bummer.  What ever it WAS It thought was going to be good. LOL
My youngest and I went to pick out some plants today.  We will be planting them at church as part of his youth groups beatification project.  Our only instruction was it had to be a plant that would tolerate full sun.  So... we looked at plants in my price range.  I don't even know what kind we picked out but the tag said Full   Sun.  They are yellow flowers and really pretty.  In fact as we pushed them around the store - Wally World because I also needed a few groceries and wanted to just make it one errand instead of two., we received numerous compliments on our plants.  LOL   Truth be told I bought one for my butterfly garden.   When we got home a huge butterfly was flying all around the house.
I have not been able to get vegetables to grow in my "box garden" but I keep trying.  Our butterfly garden is really beginning to expand though and it is drawing in a variety of butterfly's.  The photographer in us loves that!   We have to take down a dead Live Oak tree before I can expand my butterfly garden.  It's huge and we have only gotten the limbs and branches cut off the monster a couple years ago.  The tree actually was killed in Hurricane Frances in 2004.   I must say the wood peckers and cardinals love what is left of the tree so that is partly why I haven't done anything with it and it's partly because it's about 20 feet tall and to wide for our saw to cut through.  The local tree trimmers offer to cut it down but their offers have been a bit on the shady side so alas the tree still stands.   Did I mention I love watching the birds in that tree?
My oldest son is convinced that the reason the butterfly plants do so well is they are native to Florida where as the vegetables simply will not grow in the sand.  I keep buying potting soil, and manure to add to my vegetable beds but it just doesn't seem to work... or maybe I'm not watering them often enough?  That's probably more the case.
The picture is just a flower in my flower bed... I couldn't find my butterfly plant photos.  You can see my Aloe Vera plants in the back ground.  I can grow those with out even trying!  My front flower bed if full of those!  And yes, they do work on burns.

Have I finally figured out how to get into blogger?  Seriously?   I've been trying for a couple weeks.  I did not realize I had to create a blogspot name - LOL  That is what has been holding me up.  What a doofus.
Wait!  now that I'm posting... who exactly am I posting too?  How do I find my friends.  Oh how I will miss my current blog site, which is shutting down sometime... although when Yahoo360 shut down it took them months.
I have met some incredible people on the blog sites.  Some near.  Some far.  I hope to "meet" more.
Perhaps I should share a little bit?  I'm a MOM of 4 amazing kids.  There are days when they are not so amazing but I still claim them as mine.  I have a growing faith that has lead me down a life time of windy paths - windy like curvy not windy like the wind... although there have been times when I've been blown off my path.   I have been married for a while (25 years and counting) and it has not always been easy. He is a great guy who has worked since he was able to spin a wrench, although that is not what he does as a career.
I love NASCAR but admittedly lost my greatest passion for the sport when Dale Earnhardt died.  There is just something about those motors running that just draw me like a moth to the flame.  Mind you I am the most cautious driver on the road.  I don't speed 99.9% of the time.  And if you honk at me at a stop light, if it just turned green, it gives me incentive to wait a couple more seconds.  I like to make sure the intersections are completely clear before I pull out.   Like I said - I have 4 kids some of whom need their taxi driver:D
I love music.  Lots and lots of music.  There is a song for every one of my moods and I like a variety but tend to lean mostly to "Christian", folk, classic rock, classical (that's new!)  some jazz.... I just like a variety but don't tend to listen to radio stations that carry modern stuff unless of course my kids mess with my knobs.  Normally I listen to cd's in Ruwanda aka as Mom's van.
I really do have amazing kids.  My oldest was in college for photography, my second graduated Summa Cum Laude and is now in grad school, my third is in high school - Lord Help Me - she is a good student and on the swim team, and my youngest is in middle school - So far so good.  Boy, Girl, Girl, Boy.
Ok, if I haven't completely scared you off with the above and you love family, God, Music and NASCAR we may have things in common!  Oh and good books.  I love good books.  (shameless plug:  my brother has written a book - called Circling Yellowstone that you can get via amazon.com on kindle, nook or paperback.  It's pretty funny in places and if you've ever been adventurous or 21 you might be able to relate - LOL)  It's about working at Yellowstone National Park as a student employee

One last question:  how do you publish from the preview area?
